A study of the content of vitamins in the diet of athletes engaged in martial arts

The article gives a brief theoretical review on the recommendations for physically active individuals on the use of vitamins. The purpose of the study was to study the content of vitamins in the diet of martial arts athletes. In order to compare the actual contents of the main vitamins in the rations of these athletes with the norms recommended for pankration athletes, corresponding diagrams were constructed for each vitamin. Results of the study: the content of vitamins C, B1, B2, B6, B9, B12, A, E, in the diet does not reach the lower limit of the recommended rate for them in mixed martial arts athletes. The content of such vitamins as B1, B2, B12, A in their diet reaches only the physiological norm for ordinary people. In athletes, the content of such vitamins as C, B6, B9, E is even less than the norms established by the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Protection for ordinary people. Conclusion: athletes need to adjust their diet, taking into account the individual nature of nutrition.
