Modelling in sports: From mathematical fundamentals to applied use in mass media
(Modellierung im Sport: Von den mathematischen Grundlagen zur praktischen Anwendung in den Massenmedien)
Caused by modem computer development various new presentation techniques have been made available in the last years. This refers to digital video as well as to modelling, simulation and animation of movements. Although the scientific background for these techniques has been improved remarkably, there is a delay of penetration to mass media and training in sport.
