Magazine "Theory and practice of physical culture" (TPPC), dissertations (author's abstracts) and profile textbooks - the most used sources of the scientific information in area of physical culture and sports. As the dissertation is characterized by the disposable act of publications (author's abstract), hit in a group of authors of the textbook - a question in most cases organizational, has been solved as one of components of a parameter of the contribution of the scientist to use quantity of publications in magazine TPPC. Thus the quantity of monoauthor's articles and a constancy of their thematic orientation was taken into account.
