In order to study the opportunities of sports as the educational environment promoting the becoming of subjectness, under the direction of the author the scientific project maintained by the Russian humanitarian scientific fund was carried out. The investigated sample (more than 500 person) included athletes of both genders and their coevals, not engaged in sports. It was subdivided into three age groups: 12-13 years, 14-15 years, 20-24 years. It allowed to establish the age dynamics of the becoming of subjectness of the athletes. Results of research testify to the high potential of sports as the educational environment promoting the development of subjective properties of a person of teenagers and the youth. The established in the research multidirectiveness and gender specificity of the influence of sports on the personal development, the big developing opportunities of training programs convince of the necessity of the creation of a sports structure of the professional psychological service for educational establishments, capable to provide a high-grade psychological support of training of athletes.
