Metaboliceskie reakcii organizma pri adaptacii k mysecnoj dejatel'nosti
(Metabolische Reaktionen des Organismus bei der Anpassung an die Muskeltätigkeit)
Some biochemical mechanisms of the adaptation to physical loads were investigated during the last ten years in the laboratory of sports biochemistry of the St.-Petersburg scientific research institute of physical culture.
The main results of these researches are the following. 1. The aerobic physical exercise with short bouts of the maximal intensity leads to the increase in lipid mobilization and fatty acid transport in skeletal muscles. 2. The muscular activity results on cytosolic androgen and glucocorticoid binding in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue due to the intensity of exercise and tissue specifity. 3. Poliamines synthesis increases in skeletal muscles during a physical exercise and training and androgens supplementation. 4. The aerobic physical loads, native metabolites and vitamines B1, B6 and C are the factors protecting proteins glycation in blood of control and diabetic rats. 5. I/D polymorphysm of angiotensin converting enzyme is one of the genetic markers of athletic performance.
