The p urpose of this research was to study the theoretical and legislative aspects of the management in the area of the international sports movement. It had been revealed that the public sports structures are the part of a political system of a state. They are included into that political system on a level with the other non-governmental organizations and act together with them. The author offers the classification of the non-governmental sports associations and analyzes their legislative status.
