A hemodynamic study of Chinese elite gymnasts

(Eine hämodynamische Untersuchung von chinesischen Eliteturnern)

Athletic gymnastics is more technical; there is a lot of strength performance in it. When the gymnasts accomplish the actions, their bodies are always in abnormal position, therefor gymnasts` functions of cardiovascular system might has its particularity. This paper might help us to reveal the relationship between gymnastics and functions of cardiovascular. It has particle significance for the comprehensive assessment of the training and the development of athletic gymnastics. 136 elite Chinese gymnasts received hemodynamic examination by CF-2 intelligent system of cardiovascular function. Comparison was then made on the difference of hemodynamic parameters between elite gymnasts and the control group in light of the functions of heart, blood vessel, and peripheral and internal circulation. The results are: 1.In the stationery state, elite gymnasts` cardiac function is better than the control group. The female gymnasts are better than the male. There have no significant differences between the female gymnasts and the male. After the exercises, the cardiac function of the female gymnasts has a better particularity of flexibility. 2.In the stationery state, there have no significant differences between the female gymnasts` vascular function and the control group`s. The male gymnasts` are worse than control group`s. After the exercises, the gymnasts` compliance of arteries is decrease significant. The male gymnasts` vascular function is worse than the female`s. 3.In the stationery state, the male`s functions of microcirculation are better than the control group`s and the female`s. After the exercises, the blood volume of circulation is decrease, there has no significant differences between the male gymnasts` functions of mirocirculation and the female`s 4.The functions of circulation in internal organ, in the stationery state, the gymnasts` energy consumption of coronary arteries are lower than the control groups, and the circulation volume of coronary arteries are higher than the control group`s. After the exercises, the male gymnasts` energy consumption of coronary are increase significant, but their circulation volume of coronary arteries are increase insignificant. It declares that the function of internal organ of the male gymnasts have a better suitability of high exercise load.
