Northern Michigan University is pleased to host the 2010 Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports, July 19-23. The main conference features keynote lectures on Modeling Biomechanics, Sprint Training, Kicking in Soccer, Artistic Gymnastics, Baseball Pitching, Novel Techniques of Motion Analysis, and Paralympic Games—the New Frontier. Applied sessions will be held on Gymnastics, Nordic Skiing, Olympic Weightlifting, Feedback for Athletes, and Motion Analysis. Oral and poster sessions will be presented. Also, for the first time, a thematic poster session on Disabled Sports will be convened. Continuing Education Units will be available from the National Strength and Conditioning Association for CSCS and CPT certified individuals; while the National Athletic Trainers Association has approved CEUs for certified Athletic Trainers.
