The fundamentals of methodology in gymnastics are represented. The specificity of gymnasts' sports activity is underlined as a factor determining the peculiarities of the gymnasts' physical training. The interdependence of the methodology's components-such as the conceptual principles, methods and the organizational form's efficiency are shown in the article.
