Protecting the ACL in Alpine skiing with load-limiting binding plates
(Schutz des vorderen Kreuzbandes im alpinen Skilauf mittels lastbegrenzenden Bindungsplatten)
The objective is to design conditionally-activated, load-limiting binding plates for reducing ACL injuries in Alpine skiing without increasing the likelihood of inadvertent release.
