12th Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science - ECSS 2007 - Jyväskylä 11.-14.7.
(12. Jahreskongress des Europäischen College für Sportwissenschaft - ECSS 2007 - Jyväskylä 11.-14.7.)
12th Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science (ECSS). ECSS aims at promoting science and research at the European level and world wide.
The scientific programme will cover the entire spectrum of sport sciences (please see Thematic Sessions). These topics will be complemented by 36 Invited symposia and 4 highlighted Plenary sessions.
In the plenary sessions the keynote speakers and a chairperson will give an overview of the current knowledge in the particular topic. The plenary sessions will be followed by invited parallel symposia on more specific themes. The thematic sessions (both oral and poster) will cover the majority of congress presentations. It is expected that the total number of papers will be approximately 1500. Thus the scientific programme reflects the actual state of the art in Sport Sciences.
