Sports aid grant aids young sports people in Great Britain. SportsAid awards grants both nationally and regionally. To ensure that we help as many people as possible, and that our grants make a difference to the people who receive them, a typical national grant is £500 per year. A regional grant is usually£150 - £250 per year. To qualify for a national SportsAid grant, one must be: - aged between 12 and 18 years (special cases may be made for under 12's and 19, 20 and 21 year olds) - in genuine financial need, and therefore NOT in receipt of a National Lottery World Class Performance grant - a member of a National Squad .
