Heart rate recovery in young alpine skiers with congenital heart disease

INTRODUCTION: The recommendation for exercise training with children after an Operation to correct congenital heart disease defects has changed from abstinence to adapted permission. However, clinical studies suggest that heart rate recovery is markedly delayed in Fontan and Right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction patients. This study concentrated on heart rate recovery of children with congenital heart disease during alpine skiing at high altitude.
