The question of the study was: What is the level of communication competence of swimming coach for realisation of contents associated with the teaching and improvement of swimming technique and is this enough time assigned to realisation of it? Material and research method. In order to cope with these problems, registration of content transmitted by the coach dealing with swimming technique was conducted. The target was five swimming coaches conducting classes with ten year old school children. Children were part of introductory swimming training. In each case all of the contents transmitted towards children (verbal explanation and demonstration) were recorded and analysed.
