Biomechanics of winter sports - alpine and cross country skiing, snowboarding and ski boots
On the biomechanics of the alpine skier/alpine skiing, erlements of the ski turn (start, mid, end phase), the tibial varum (which is one of the more common lower extremity biomechanical abnormalities that can have a negative impact on a skier's performance), accidents and prevention, ski boots and boot adjustment (with special regard to the foot bed). Also cross-country skiing (boots) and snowboarding are considered.
