XC endurance training theory - Norwegian style - Part II

Presented are the basic philosophies of the Norwegian training system (in cross country) with some explanation and comments. The main points are: 1. Build the program around weekly high intensity training/intervals! 2. Do (most of) the remainder of the endurance training volume each week at LOW (below the LIT) intensities. 3. Work with the Progressive Overload Principle. (With figures about the annual training volume in relation to age)
