Common injuries in basketball

Thirty-six German second division basketball players with at least one recent ankle sprain in their history were examined. The group comprised 15 centres, 14 forwards and 7 guards. After a detailed evaluation of players' previous injuries, an injury score was calculated for each foot and the groups were further divided into low-risk (n = 59) and high-risk (n = 13).
