The purpose of the research was to study the state of rheological characteristics of blood, lipide structure and some hormones in athletes of power kinds of sports using anabolic steroids. 9 elite athletes male participated in the research, training in power kinds of sports: powerlifting and heavy athletics taking methandrostenolone for 3-5 tab./day. Use of anabolic steroids by athletes results in the changes on the part of sexual hormones, lipide structure, factors of fibrinolysis, erythrogenesis which raise viscosity of blood and warn positive rearrangements of the microrheological parameters, frequently recorded in the athletes. The received results will help to open pathophysiological mechanisms of negative influence of the use of anabolics on an organism of an athlete.
