Empirical research on load intensity of the full run training in canoe slalom
(Empirische Forschung zur Belastungsintensität im Kanuslalomtraining mit ganzen Durchläufen)
Objective: The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the load intensity of two different full run training (emphasis on technology & emphasis on speed) in canoe slalom, and to explore the training strategy. Methods: 25 international master athletes who came from the national team in 2016 Rio Olympic cycle were the test object, and tested the result, athletes' heart rate (HR) and blood lactic acid (BLA). Results: 1) the mean value of lactic acid was 11.55 mmol/L in full run test which emphasize technology , and 13.1 mmol/L in the one emphasize speed. 2) the correlation analysis showed that the result date (the result is better when the date is smaller) of full run test was significantly negatively correlated with the blood lactate value (< 0.05). Conclusion: The load intensity of the full run training which emphasize speed is significantly higher than the one emphasize technology. National team should arrange the proportion of the two different full run training reasonably according to the different training stages and task, pay more attention to the development of athletes' physical fitness to complete the high-intensity competition, and improve their skills under this conditions.
