Injuries sustained during an international judo training camp
More than half of the judoka participating in an international camp reported injuries. As reported by others, the ankle and shoulder were particularly susceptible to injury and randori sessions involved the highest risk.
Further research should focus on injury risk reduction strategies for judoka preparing for intense training camps.
