The goal of the work is to disclose the peculiarities of communication of high-mastery handball players. To reach this goal the following tasks were set: 1) to compare the peculiarities of communication of male and female handball players; and 2) to compare listening skills of male and female handball players. The research hypothesis: peculiarities of communication of handball players depend on the gender. Result/Conclusion: the listening skills of female players are better in comparison to that of male players. Having completed the research on the peculiarities of communication of high-mastery handball players it is assumed that communicational skills of female players are stronger and the level of listening skills is higher than those of male handball players.
