From critical thoughts about the effectiveness of classical training principles (Emrich/Pitsch 1998) which at least go back to Matwejew (Verchoschanski 1998), the classical training approach was compared with the differencial training approach. A Basic element of this approach is the theoretical derivation (Schöllhorn 1999) of the dynamic systems approach (Kelso 1995). One of the main issues is the fundamental meaning of differences during the learning process. The comparison between the differencial and classical approach verifies the hypothesis that the differencial approach in soccer is going to improve the precision of playing the ball much better than in the classical approach (Sechelmann 2002).
