The aim of this research was to establish the differences between the ''outside'' players (guards) and ''inside'' players (centers), first league basketball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in their morphological characteristics. The gained results were compared to the results of European and world's more quality basketball players, and based on that, certain results were abstracted. Examinee sample was made of players of the 3 best ranked teams in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina (n=39, M=26 years, SD=4.1 years). There were found significant differences between the ''outside'' and ''inside'' players (ANOVA, MANOVA) in the majority of variables measured. Comparing the basketball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the top basketball players of other countries, we have come to cognition that the most distinctive differences are in variables of Skeleton longitudinal dimensionality, Skeleton transfersal dimensionality, Body volume, Body mass and Body mass index.
