Psychophysiological state and decision making in elite wrestlers
PURPOSE: The research of relation with psychophysiological state decision making in elite wrestlers.
METHODS: The 29 elite Greco-Roman wrestlers were examined. The psychophysiological states of wrestlers were studied by complex methods. For decision making test were research by time on choice of differential stimulus. All of wrestlers given the written agreement to the research according to recommendations of the Biomedical Research Ethics Committees.
RESULTS: The analysis of research showed the improvement of speed of decision making and ability of visual perception as indicator of quality of special skills in elite wrestlers. Moreover, the increasing of decision-making property accompanied with simultaneous increase of impulsiveness and level of emotional strain in elite wrestling. The high speed of decision making related with better level of anticipation in elite wrestlers. These it is accompanied with balance between processes of arousal and inhibition. A high speed of decision-making requires a greater strain in the autonomic regulation of the heart rate.
CONCLUSION: The psychophysiological state affects the possibility of decision making in elite wrestlers. The decision making in elite wrestlers associated with balance of processes between of arousal and inhibition, optimization of non-verbal intelligence and emotional stability.
