Approaches for optimising jumping performance
Jumping activities are required in many sporting situations and therefore the ability to optimise jumping performance is a key element in performance enhancement. This paper presents different approaches to studying jumping activities in an attempt to optimise or enhance performance. The areas of simulation modelling, motor control and learning and the application of biomechanical principles to training theory are addressed.
