In the scientific literature the question of necessity to finish registration of a sportscience as an independent system of knowledge more was risen more than once. Nowadays there is a paradoxical situation. Sports exists, it's actively developed, two theories of sports are already created, but there is no sportscience. The decision of this question was delayed for many years; therefore the author studied the literature from the point of view of the history of scientific consideration of the problems connected exclusively with sports. According to the author's opinion, the sportscience saves up the knowledge, which gives sports-technical schools the opportunity to involve Russians into values of physical culture effectively and to train the most talented of them to the achievement of the best results on the international scene.
