Takenaka, Japan's foremost dome construction company, together with Tabai Espec Corporation, has developed a High-Altitude Environment Training System based on the new concept of a special sports facility. This system makes it possible to carry out, in low altitude areas, altitude training at an altitude of 3,500 meters, as carried out by Olympic gold medallists. With "Altitube" as its core, it also comprises a "Low-Oxygen Athlete's Hotel" and a "Low-Pressure Minidome."
