The article tries to generalize and analyze the up-to-date tendencies in the sphere of the russian state regulation of economics via licencing. The author describes the practice of regulation after the process of licensing nowadays in Russia and abroad, and in the sphere of physical culture and sports as well. As the summary of the study there are given the proves for necessity of licencing in the sphere of physical culture and sports, as well as the systematization of legislation of that process and its normative bases, creation.
