Effets du port de collants de compression sur les performances musculaires après un exercice de type circuit training

(Effect of wearing compression tights on muscular performances following circuit training exercise)

The aim of this study was to examine the effects of wearing compression tights on muscular performance following circuit training composed of stretch-shortening cycle activities. Synthesis Velocity of a 20-m sprint running and jump height were analyzed in seven subjects before and after circuit training performed with and without compression tights. Conclusion The reduction in 20-m running speed and jump height after the circuit training was similar with or without compression tights. The effect of wearing compression tights on muscular performance during circuit training involving SSC activities was negligible.
