Hormone regulation of metabolic adaptation in exercise and training
(Hormone regulation of metabolic adaptation in exercise and training )
This brief review has been written with the aim to point out the main problems related to exercise-induced hormonal response, understanding the significance of hormones during exercise, and usage of hormones in training monitoring. The adaptive significance of cortisol is emphazised and criticism is made on address of usage of the ratio testosterone/cortisol.
