Analis wypolnenija sakljutschitelnoi fasy pryschkow w wodu II i III klassa s platformy 10 metrow, lutschschich sportsmenow, na osnowe Olimpijskich igr w Tokio 2020
(Analysing the performance of the final phase of the Class II and III dives from the 10 metre platform of the best athletes, based on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games)
Abstract: in modern scientific papers, the information on kinematic characteristics of the most significant element of diving - water entry - is quite limited. There are publications by Gorokhovsky, Raspopova and other au thors, which consider the issues of splash formation during diving, but they do not fully cover theoretical and practical aspects of this sport. The question of the athletes' movement kinematics during diving, which provides a quality water entry, remains open. After obtaining the results of previous studies, it was decided to continue studying the technique of water entry after backward rotations. This paper considers II and III dives classes, from a 10-meter platform.
Material. The paper presents results of kinematic analysis of the final diving phase performed by the best athletes of the world, based on the video analysis from the final competition of the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
Research methods: analysis of video material, measurement of athletes' body position angles, expert evaluation method, mathematical statistics methods.
Results. Determined the kinematic parameters, execution of water entry, of the strongest athletes in the world.
Conclusions. It was found that the judges' score for a dive is related to the quality of the water entry. Than the greater the value of deviation from the vertical line, the lower the judges evaluate the dive. There is a tendency for athletes to «over» in III class dives. High quality athletes perform the final part of the flight phase in II and III class dives with little variation.
