The purpose of the research was the search of ways of the system approach to the realization of the principle of individualization in an educational-training process. At the moment some approaches to solve the problem of the individualization were generated: selection, application of the individualized training programs, stimulation of motivation and formation of the individual style of activity. The role of the individual style of activity as a universal system forming factor in the harmonization of the individuality of a young athlete was analyzed in the research.
