This study was conducted with the aim of developing complex model characteristics and regulatory requirements for highly qualified athletes based on morphological and functional indicators of special performance. As a result, models and normative scales of physical development and special working capacity were developed, allowing to assess the level of preparedness of high-class swimmers, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their morphological and functional potential. To determine sports prospects and further sports improvement, one should focus on athletes whose morphofunctional status is above average. Outstanding sporting achievements can be achieved by those athletes whose performance will subsequently be equal to or exceed the maximum level of our model characteristics developed by us.
