Sport planning applied to canoeing
Historically, the ability of the coaches to program training and achieve optimal sports performances with their athletes has generally been attributed to the many years of their personal experience.
Unfortunately, there is not much research on canoeing, particularly on the quantification of training programs and their effects on physiological adaptation and the corresponding performance. This work is not easy, but in the last decade it has been considerably improved. In the beginning we should count with a model or theory that endorses our approach and from this make the decisions on how to achieve the relevant physiological, anatomical, technical adjustments, etc. This is where planning and corresponding quantification of training becomes indispensable
Umfangreiches, ausführliches Kapitel zur Trainingsplanung und Belastungsgestaltung - in der Theorie und im Kanurennsport.
