The influence of a golf club's inertia on shaft movement during the golfer's swing

To study the influence of a golf club's inertia we demonstrated the shaft movement with inertia divided into components. We formulated a simulation model using the finite element method (FEM). We then computed the inertia force using measured data. We further divided the inertia force into shaft and grip inertia components and the club head's acceleration, angle rate, and angular acceleration components. We input each inertia into the simulation model to demonstrate the shaft movement for each inertia. The objective of this research is to simulate shaft movement while taking into account the inertia for each component in order to study the influence of golf club inertia.
