Dynamic and robust indoor localization using wireless sensor networks
Most localization algorithms found in the technical literature support node mobility in wireless sensor networks by re-running the specific positioning algorithm after a determined time interval or after detecting the movement of one of the mobile nodes. However, they are not taking into account how mobility can be exploited to achieve localization. The Sequential Bayesian Localization algorithm newly implemented at CSEM has been specifically designed for mobile devices while using as little information from the environment as possible, minimizing the installation costs.
