Über die Notwendigkeit und Möglichkeiten der Anwendung neuer Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien im Spitzensport informierten sich Trainingswissenschaftler, Vertreter von Spitzenverbänden und Olympiastützpunkten, Informatiker, Biomechaniker, Ingenieure und Studenten am 21. und 22. April 2010 bei der 12. Frühjahrsschule am Institut für Angewandte Trainingswissenschaft (IAT) in Leipzig. Das Profil dieser Veranstaltung wurde in Richtung der angrenzenden Wissenschaftsdisziplinen Mathematik, Sportinformatik, Biomechanik und Sporttechnologie weiter ausgeprägt. On April 21-22, 2010 training scientists, representatives of national sport associations and Olympic training centres, IT- and biomechanical experts, engineers and students attended the 12th Spring School at the Institute for Applied Training Science (IAT) in Leipzig to gather information on the necessity and the opportunities to apply new information and communication technology in high-performance sport. The content and profile of the event was determined by the neighbouring scientific fields mathematics, sport informatics, biomechanics and sport technology.
