The aim of the work was a comparative study of the morphological status of skiers and biathletes of the national teams of Russia and Norway. The results of the study did not reveal differences between skiers and biathletes within each country, due to similar processes of long-term adaptation of the morphological status of athletes to ski racing and biathlon. Significant features of the morphological status that distinguish Russian and Norwegian athletes and mostly male athletes have been identified, which may be due to ethnic characteristics, the national system of selection and training in ski disciplines.
