Experiment-integrated computational chemistry simulation of ski wax penetrated into running surface

Gallium Co., Ltd., is a top runner among ski wax companies all over the world, especially on the high performance liquid wax products. In order to develop a novel wax which shows higher performance, we applied computational chemistry methods at first to ski science. In the present study experiment-integrated computational modeling of realistic running surface in meso/macroscopic scale has been developed to calculate how ski wax penetrates ski sole.
