Influence of upper and lower body sports compression garments on markers of cross country skiing performance

This study sought to evaluate the effects of wearing full length lower and upper body compression (LBCP and UBCP, respectively) versus non-compression (NCP) garments on markers of roller skiing (RS) economy, blood lactate (BL), and upper body power (UBP) in trained XC skiers. The CP garments tested were a prototype designed specifically to the kinematic movements of XC skiers, while the NCP garments were the skiers` racing uniforms.
