(Statistische Analysen zur Effizienz der taktischen Leistung der Aufgabe im Volleyball)
Introduction
Volleyball has truly become one of most popular events for the international sports world, especially as regards the number of competitors. Volleyball includes several basic skills and, the serve is a very important skill in the game. The basic purpose of the serve is to start play by sending the ball into the opponent's court using the tactical performance to have a positive effect on the match result. The purpose of this study was to investigate the playing characteristics of tactical performance of the serve in international men's volleyball. The specific purpose was design a computer software program for statistical analyses of the efficiency of tactical performance of the serve.
Methods
Twelve sample matches from the Federation of International Volleyball Cup men's 2007 competition were recorded using a computerized recording system. The computer program for statistical analyses for the efficiency of tactical performance of the serve was designed by the visual basic 6 program. It included several forms; a window to show the match in the main form, and other information including (situations before the tactical performance of the serve, - situations during the tactical performance of the serve and situations after the tactical performance of the serve. Discussion
The jump serve is the one most frequently used in game and its success depends on placement as well as power. The results suggest the value of the software programto evaluate the efficiency of tactical performance of the serve as it serves to to provide accurate, adequate and fast information on performance to helpthe coach evaluate tactical performance of the serve, selection, classification of players, and management of building training strategies.
