Integratives Bewegungsanalyse-Inventar (IBAI): Primäre Verknüpfung von Daten aus Sportmotorik und Sportbiomechanik

There has been a long discussion concerning the missing link between biomechanics and other fields of motor research. In this paper we aimed at starting a systematical search for methodical paths regarding biomechanical aspects and functional units of movement organisation. Therefore we developed approaches to measure kinematical parameters and the structure of motor representations. A new experimental method was developed to measure the structure of these representations in long term memory (IBAI-modul 1). Concerning the analysis of kinematics we developed a system for computer-based three-dimensional (3D) analysis of complex movements (IBAI-modul 2). After measuring movement parameters in modul 1 and modul 2 it is possible by means of IBAI to investigate the relationship between structure of motor representation and the kinematical parameters in different fields of sports. IBAI is explained here with help of study in Volleyball.
