Soft tissue vibrations in running: A narrative review

Key Points - To provide a good overview of soft tissue vibrations, triaxial accelerometers should be used, so that all components can be accurately measured and analysed. - Compression apparels generally decrease soft tissue vibrations whereas the effects of footwear are highly subject-specific. - Fatigue increases soft tissue vibrations but when identified, an evaluation of neuromuscular fatigue should be undertaken.
