Mark Spitz won seven gold medals wearing briefs. Michael Phelps won 14 gold medals in Athens and Beijing in a high-tech all-over bodysuit. In 2010 high-technology swimsuits were banned from competition, as significantly improving performance. But do they really make a difference?
