In order to obtain reliable and valid physiological data the pre-test preparation must be standardised (training, diet, pool conditions, warm-up, swimmer condition). This is essential for both laboratory and pool testing. It's god to have an equipment checklist. There are some routine and specific tests as well as for blood testing and for the anthropometry.
