Stress and its relation to swimming

On overreaching and overtraining: Over-reaching, is simply a planned overload program combined with rest periods designed to enable the athlete to adapt fully or partly, depending on the ultimate goal. During this period it is possible for that person to sustain excessive fatigue. Regeneration processes such as spas and massage will hasten restoration when in this mode. Over-training syndrome is a term to describe a pathological state that is rapidly approaching an immunological disaster! This could mean months of rest and recuperation. On immunological, mental, training and tapering problems in this connection.
