The effect of acute swim exercise on fat metabolism in collegiate female swimmers

Implication of the study: Diet is important in reduced load cycles and between seasons. Dietary habits should be maintained even though hard or serious training has ceased. It is important for swimmers to watch their weight and dietary intake while swimming continues to be a serious concern. The reduction of fat intake is important particularly in periods of reduced calorific need.
