Steering of endurance development in young swimmers

The aim of research was to verify a mathematical model of developing endurance in young swimmers, working out new solutions in sports training aimed at increasing effectiveness. Mathematical model was designed un ihe basis of collected experimental data during a two-year pedagogical experiment on a group of 14- year old swimrners of 164.2 ± 7.37 cm. height and 50.73±7.76 kg body weight. The model was next used for optimal steering, which led to sports result improvement, though lower than calculated from the model. The conclusion seems to be of high practical importance, and indicates a necessity of continuation of research on improving the model.
