Hyponatremia in ultradistance triathletes
Hyponatremia is a common biochemical finding in ultradistance triathletes but is usually asymptomatic. Although mild
hyponatremia was associated with variable body weight changes, fluid overload was the cause of most (73%) cases of severe, symptomatic hyponatremia.
