The development of a rhythm monitor to improve rowing ability

Introduction The relationship between stroke rate and movement rhythm during rowing is extremely important. This article developed a rhythm monitor to be used for strength training and ergometer training for rowing. The monitor controls the movement rhythm and stroke rates during training. Methods The research analyzed a variety of on pull-through rhythms between the national and international firstclass rowers. The research concluded the pull-through time and the ratio of release and drive at different stroke rates (Figure 1), was adequately measured by the rhythm monitor.
